My son was laughing at me I sat and road the sole bike in he store for about 20 min LOL I so wanted to buy it but I plan on shopping around and trying some other brands before my upgrade I'm 5"3 so I have those issues with everything LOL. The more expensive bike seem to have better design with the seat, petal and handle bar adjustments. I would think the spinner would be better than the sunny. I would of been fine had I now experience the something better LOL SO just saying the sunny does the job if you haven't experience a good bike. (which was 3 time the cost of the sunny) I can tell the difference from my cheap sunny and the more expensive bikes. The sunny I keep oiled and have had zero issues but after visit a fitness store and using a Sole spin bike. I bought cheap just in case spinning wasn't for me. Its been ok and I've used it for several years. Even standing you should be able to keep a light hand on the bars, so your wrist doesn't bother you. But seriously - the idea of spin is to use the handlebars for stabilization, not to hang on to. The other great thing is that you can alternate true spin workouts with workouts like Sufferfest or Spinervals that are more designed to enhance your outdoor riding - and as there is less standing, there will be less pressure on your wrist. Cathe's workouts are decent, but kind of meh (to me). To me - the Peloton app is the best i for sheer variety, although Studio Sweat On Demand has some good options as well. I actually use my Kinetic trainer more than my spin bike.
As a cyclist myself, I like keeping track of the miles I've ridden, so I'd really prefer a computer. I have a Sunny and while it's decent, I wish I would have gone higher end. I read the threads here and I know the Sunny was mentioned, but not the Spinner. One belt driven and one chain driven, the Spinner comes with a computer as part of the deal. It comes down to either the Sunny Health & Fitness Indoor Cycle Trainer - 49 lb. I have looked at reviews and there are so many differing opinions out there. I have the opportunity to get a spin bike.
